A low pressure making it's way through the Adriatic is seriously screwing up the prevailing wind. After an afternoon of watching the wind squall through in 3 different directions within the space of 10 minutes the wind seemed to settle into a gusty onshore breeze, cue everyone on the water at once. Vass can sustain a lot of windsurfers on the water in cross shore conditions but on-shore compresses the whole beach into one reaching line - chaos.

I was out on a F2 Style 255 and a North Disco 5.9 and pumping to get going. Got a few decent jumps but spent most of the time avoiding people - even had one of the Vass staff run me into the water, I wouldn't mind but they had lectured us on port-stbd rule and he was on port! Decided to get off the water after some idiot who was fully on the plane passed me so close upwind that his boom touched my shoulders whilst I was blobbing along trying to stay upright.

Not bad but way too crowded.
